INFORMATION AND FAQ’S FOR NASCAR PREVIEW 2013

What – NASCAR Preview 2013 – an opportunity for fans to listen to driver Q&A’s, get driver autographs, and check out sponsor and team assets including 2013 cars.

When – Saturday, February 9, 2013

Where – Enter NASCAR Preview 2013 through the NASCAR Hall of Fame – Main Entrance. Event takes place in the Charlotte Convention Center – Exhibit Hall C. Will-call tickets and tickets for purchase are available on-site at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Box Office.

FAQ

Where should I park?

The NASCAR Hall of Fame has a parking deck on South Brevard Street that provides great access to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Charlotte Convention Center. In addition; Uptown Charlotte has plenty of budget friendly places to park. Please visit our website at www.nascaracceleration.com and click on the “Local Info” tab for links to parking maps. The NASCAR Hall of Fame also has a parking garage with access on Brevard Street.

Will there be food and beverages available?

Yes, the Charlotte Convention Center will have concession stands open in Exhibit Hall C with food and beverage. The Charlotte Convention Center Food Court will also be open for business which includes Bojangles, Buon Cibo, Starbucks and Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Can I take photos with the drivers?

Due to the fact that we need to accommodate as many autographs as possible for fans waiting in line, photos with the drivers will not be permitted. You will however be able to take photos with race cars, Championship trophies, and of the Q&A sessions taking place on the stage in Exhibit Hall C.

Is this a family friendly event?

Yes, this event is 100% family friendly. There will be activities for all ages.

What time will the drivers be at the event?

Exact driver schedules are still being finalized but will be posted and updated at www.nascaracceleration.com.

When can I start waiting in line for driver autographs?

The NASCAR Hall of Fame doors will open at 7:00AM on Saturday, February 9th.

Will I be able to purchase NASCAR apparel?

Yes – NASCAR apparel and merchandise will be available at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Gear Shop.

Is the event handicapped accessible?

Yes – all aspects of the event are handicapped accessible. We will have additional staff on hand to help with the wristband process when needed.

Are there things to do besides get driver autographs?

Yes – there will be plenty of activities beyond the driver autographs. Teams, NASCAR Official Partners, NASCAR Broadcast Partners, and tracks will have interactive displays for fans to check out. There will also be lots of exciting programming on the stage in Exhibit Hall C which will include, but is not limited to: driver Q&A sessions, tech talks, giveaways, sponsor activation, and more.

Will this event take place if weather is inclement?

NASCAR Preview 2013 will go on as planned rain or shine. If inclement weather does arise please visit www.nascaracceleration.com for updates on event day.

Are there any limitations on what we may bring indoors? Ex. umbrellas, sheet metal, etc.??

Yes – to ensure the safety of our event the following items are not permitted inside the Charlotte Convention Center:

a. Outside beverages including unopened bottles and cans
b. Coolers
c. Weapons
d. Laser Pointers
e. Illegal Substances
f. Beach balls and inflatables
g. Fireworks
h. Animals except authorized service animals
i. Confetti and Silly String
j. Signs with sticks
k. Chairs

The prohibited items list should be used as a guide and is not designed to be all-encompassing.
